At the former Van Laere industrial site in Zwijndrecht, Planned for Demolition gives a place destined to disappear one final life. Around 100 artists transform abandoned warehouses, offices and walls into a temporary world of murals, installations and unexpected details. My photographs capture the contrast between decay and creativity, darkness and colour, past and present. Soon, everything will be demolished — making photography a way to preserve what was created to vanish.
