An Enchanting Stroll through the City of Light

What an amazing day I had in Paris today! My adventure began at the iconic Gare du Nord, a historic train station steeped in tales of the past. As I walked towards the fair, I passed countless interesting spots and beautiful buildings that embody the city’s rich architectural history. Paris is renowned for its breathtaking architecture, and it was all around me to admire.

A Day Through Paris: Along Water, Squares, and Hidden Gems

My journey began at the bustling Gare du Nord, where travelers cross paths like waves in a sea of motion. Yet just a short walk away lies a peaceful oasis: the Écluses des Récollets. These locks, part of the Canal Saint-Martin, form a picturesque piece of industrial heritage. In the 19th century, this canal was vital for supplying goods to Paris. Today, you’ll mostly see locals here, book in hand or enjoying a coffee from a nearby café.

Parisian Panoramas: A Stroll from Montmartre to the Seine

On a crisp morning in Paris, you step off the train at the iconic Gare du Nord, one of the busiest train stations in Europe and a masterpiece from the 19th century. Designed by architect Jacques Ignace Hittorff, it opened in 1864, with an impressive facade decorated with statues representing the cities served by the trains. Full of energy for the day, you begin your walk towards Montmartre.

Berlin: A City of Endless Surprises

Berlin, a city that constantly reinvents itself, has carved out a special place in my heart during my three-day stay. The city is a mosaic of history and modernity, where every corner holds a new surprise. My adventure began in Friedrichshain, a neighborhood where the history of East Germany is still palpable, yet the dynamic energy of contemporary Berlin is equally evident.

Historical Journey Through the Heart of Berlin

After the captivating first day in Friedrichshain, a new adventure awaited: exploring the Mitte district, the historical and cultural heart of Berlin. A walk through this area feels like a journey through time, where every step brings you closer to the city’s rich past.
