First Impressions
Tucked away by the scenic Arduinkaai, Beaucoup Belge welcomes you with the charm of a classic bistro. Warm lighting, wooden tables, and subtle Belgian touches set the mood — understated, yet inviting.
What’s on My Plate?
The croquettes are a test of tradition — and they pass with flying colors. Crispy on the outside, rich and velvety within. The main dish, a sole “meunière”, was buttery soft, perfectly accompanied by golden fries and a crisp salad. My companion’s vegetarian butternut polenta surprised with its layered flavors and satisfying textures.
Wine Pairing
The Gavi matched the sole beautifully — fresh and elegant, it held its ground with just enough zest. A smart and balanced choice.
At the Table
It’s relaxed dining, with no rush. The service is friendly, present but not pushy. You can tell this is a spot frequented by locals — always a good sign.
Final Bite
The panna cotta was silky smooth, and the berry coulis added just the right tang. A sweet, stylish ending.
